Terms and Conditions of Hire
Terms and conditions for our chair covers and sash fitting/hire service
Please read the information below carefully before booking.
All chair covers and sashes remain as the property of Shooting Star
The Hirer is the lead name on the booking form. Hired Period shall be the event date on the booking form.
Hired Goods shall be all items listed on the final invoice.
The hirer shall be solely responsible for the hired goods and shall be responsible for insuring the goods from time of installation and / or acceptance until returned to the owner –Shooting Star
Cancelled bookings with less than 3 months before the hire period will require full payment.
A returnable deposit of £75.00 must be received at the time of booking. This fee will be returned once all items have been received in a satisfactory return. (non refundable if order is cancelled)
Full payment must be made 14 days before your delivery date.
- A charge of £4.00 will be made for each unreturned chair cover or each chair cover which is returned in an unusable condition.
- A charge of £2.00 will be made for each unreturned Diamante Buckle or each Diamante Buckle which is returned in an unusable condition.
- A charge of £2.00 will be made for each unreturned chair sash or each chair sash which is returned in an unusable condition.
- The Hirer must obtain a certificate of postage covering hired items returned to us using our courier or postal service and be picked up on our agreed date.
- No additional charges for delivery or collection using our fitting service will be made unless goods are not available for collection at the agreed date, time and location. Where a second collection or an alternative collection point has to be made an administration fee of £35 will be applied.
The owners will not be held responsible for injury or damage to persons or property however sustained, from any of the items hired from Shooting Star.
A minimum order equivalent to 50 covers and sashes applies to all bookings.
