Time Scales for dispatch of orders
We aim to dispatch all orders in the time scales mentioned below
Time scales for completion of orders
Non Personalised Products - 7 working Days
Personalised/Custom Orders - 7 Working Days
Wedding Invitations/ Order of Service Booklets - 2 - 4 Weeks
If we can not carry out any orders within the time scales given above. We will contact you to let you know as soon as possible.
Occasionally we may hold onto your order if we are out of stock of a large part of it. But we always let you know the possible time scale for dispatch if this case.
(We do not work week-ends or bank holidays)
During busy periods these estimates may be longer.
If you need your order sooner than the estimated time scale quoted above,
please use our rush order service.
Remember to take delivery into account too.
Occasionally we may hold onto your order if we are out of stock of a large part of it but we will always let you know the likely timescale for despatch in this case.
Please note the dispatch times when ordering your goods, and make sure that you order in time for your event.
Please contact us before ordering, if you are working to a tight schedule. We will be able to advise you about our current workload. And let you know if it is possible to complete your order in time for your event.

Handmade Wedding Invitation Notice
We would strongly recommend placing your order asap if you would like us to complete your Wedding Invitations for you. That way we can make sure we have all the items in stock, ready to complete your order!
What forms of payment can I use?
Once you have selected your items to purchase you have a range of payment options intended to suit you.
We accept Visa, Delta, Visa Electron, Mastercard, Switch and Solo.
I am having problems paying via PAYPAL
Please give us a call, we now take payment over the phone!
When will the payment be taken from my account?
Payment will be taken as soon as your order has been placed with us.
Is it safe for me to use my credit card?
Shooting Star provides totally safe and secure online shopping 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Will my personal details be kept private and secure?
At Shooting Star we are committed to protecting your security and privacy.
Will I receive a receipt for my order?
On placing your order via our Shooting Star website, you will receive e-mail confirmation of the products that you have ordered and their respective prices via Paypal.
Shooting Star will also send on a confirmation that your order has been received, and accepted.
If you place your order the phone, we will be able to advise about timescales and we will pop an invoice within your parcel, which will include a break down of your products ordered and their respective prices.
Please Note No Contract Will Be Formed With Nicki Pilkington Ltd Until The Order Has Been Confirmed By Us. We Have The Right To Refuse Any Orders Placed.
Cancelling An Order
under The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, you (the customer) has a legal right to cancel your contract up to 7 working days from the day after you receive the goods.
This right to cancel doesn't apply to products made to a customers's specification or which are clearly personalised.
You will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods.

As a customer, you will have to take reasonable care of the goods whilst in your possession.

Personalised/Custom Orders/Made To Order – we would advise you to order samples if you are thinking of ordering personalised products. That way you can see the quality, and design before your order is placed with us.
DELIVERY
How much will I be charged for delivery?
Due to the price rise with Royal Mail we have had to increase our p & p charges.
UK orders - delivery charge will be -
0.01 - 5.00 - Cost £1.99
£5.01 - £20.00 - Cost £3.99
£20.01 - £50.00 - Cost £4.99
£50.01 - £70.00 - Cost £5.99
£70.01 - plus - Cost £7.99
How will my products be delivered?
Your products will be delivered via Royal Mail by 1st Class post
Rush Orders will be delivered by Special Next Day Delivery under 2KG
Please make sure that you enter your correct delivery address when ordering. We will not be liable for the failure to deliver the goods ordered if an incorrect address is provided.
I've just ordered, can you dispatch my order urgently?
We pack and dispatch orders in the order that they are received. Unless you have selected our Rush Order Service. If that is that case, then your order will take priority over all other orders.
Orders Placed
We also reserve the right to supply a substitute item if any products are out of stock at the time. This will be as close to the original item as possible. We will meet the cost of returning the substitute goods to you, if you choose to cancel within the Cancellation Period.
Important Information
All confectionery may contain traces of nut.
All products are not suitable for children 3 years or under.
