We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time. By continuing to use the Site following any such change you will be deemed to have accepted such change. It is your responsibility to check regularly to determine whether these terms and conditions have been changed. If you do not agree to any such change you must immediately stop using the site.

Placing an order
Whether you have placed an order online, or by post, Shooting Star will send you a confirmation of your order either by e-mail if you ordered online (and if you have an e-mail address) or by post. If there are any problems with the order then we will advise you as soon as possible.

 Delivery Details

Non Personalised Orders are being dispatched in approx 5  working days just now.

Please allow 14  days for personalised menus, personalised table plans and personalised place cards.

Please allow 21 working days for save the date cards, and plain personalised invitations.

Please allow 4 - 6 weeks for all Wedding Invitations.

We offer a rush order service if you would like your order dispatched quickly!

Please note the dispatch times when ordering, and make sure that you order in time for your occasion. We will not be held liable for delays to orders that are dispatched and delivered, please order well in advance. We aim (but do not guarantee dates quoted) The dispatch times made known to the buyer are estimates only

Handmade Wedding Invitation Notice

We would strongly recommend placing your order asap if you would like us to complete your Wedding Invitations for you. That way we can make sure we have all the items in stock, ready to complete your order!

When can I buy products?

Shooting Star provides totally safe and secure online shopping 24 hours  a day, 7 days a week.

What forms of payment can I  use?

Once you have selected your items to purchase you have a range of payment options intended to suit you.

We accept Visa, Delta, Visa Electron, Mastercard, Switch and Solo.

I am having problems paying via  PAYPAL

If you are having problems paying via paypal please go to the contact us page. You will see a Nochex payment button. Click on the button and follow the instructions.

When will the payment be taken from my account?

Payment will be taken before your order is dispatched

Is it safe for me to use my credit card?

I would like my order sending  quickly

Please take a look at our dispatch times - details are at the top of this page on the left hand side. Please note that the dispatch time relates to working days; we do not work at weekends or on Bank holidays etc, so these days do not count in the dispatch time.

 If you need an order sending urgently, use our rush order service.

Will my personal details be kept private and secure?

At Shooting Star we are committed to protecting your security and privacy.

 

Will I receive a receipt for my  order?

On placing your order you will receive e-mail confirmation of the products that you have ordered and their respective prices via paypal or NOCHEX. All you have to  do is print this information out for your records. If you would like us to send  you a copy, please contact us. We will send one out with your completed order if  you would like us to!

 

 I would like to cancel my order, is this  possible?

If you decided you do not want to go ahead with your order, we will be happy to forward your funds back to you. Unfortunately a small charge will be deducted, due to fees for us accepting credit card payments.

For personalised/made to order items ordered. If you decided to cancel, the same applies also. But if the order has been started, we will not be able to offer a refund.

DELIVERY

How much will I be charged for delivery?

Due to the price rise with Royal Mail we have had to increase our p & p charges.

UK/International orders delivery charge will be £3.95 for orders of £15.00 or  less.

£15.01 - £50.00  delivery is £4.99

£50.01 - £100.00 plus is £5.99 per order

£100.01 plus is £7.99

Except wedding invitation orders which are charged at £7.99 - UK

£20.00 - International

 

How will my products be delivered?

Your products will be delivered  via Royal Mail or City Link.

Please make sure that you enter your correct delivery address when ordering. We will not be liable for the failure to deliver the goods in question if an incorrect address is provided.

Returns

If you would like to return goods to us, please forward them back to us within 14 days from the purchase date. They must be sent back to us in perfect condition, and in the original packing. We will then be happy to forward on a refund for products. The price of postage and packing will not be refunded.

You will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods.

PLEASE CONTACT US BEFORE RETURNING YOUR GOODS

The  right to returning goods does not apply to perishable goods such as confectionery, and  goods made to order or personalised. We do accept returns for plain guest books, plain favour boxes, ribbons on rolls, plain place cards, plain favour tags, blank cards, envelopes, vellum papers and embellishments. All other products are made to order. For this reason can not be returned.

 

Personalised Orders

We would advise you to order samples if you are thinking of ordering personalised products. That way you can see the quality, and design before your order is placed with us. Once a personalised order is completed to your exact requirements, we can not offer a refund.

 

I've just ordered, can you dispatch my order urgently?

We pack and dispatch orders in the order that they are received. If you need your order urgently, please take a look at our Rush order service page for more details.

Typographical Errors
In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error, we shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders listed at the incorrect price whether or not the order has been confirmed. If your credit card has already been charged and we subsequently cancel your order, we will immediately issue a refund to your credit card account in the value of monies paid (including delivery charges).

Delivery Times
We will endeavor to deliver goods within the times stated but goods are subject to availability and delay in delivery of goods is sometimes outside our control. Any dates we specify for the delivery of the goods are approximate only and we shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges, or expenses caused by any delay for delivery of the goods.

To avoid this - please order well in advance.

Orders

Please note that no contract will been formed with the buyer until the order has been dispatched.

Important Information

Most of our products are NOT suitable for children under 3 years of age due to small parts.
